Small Business Direct Install Incentives
Small businesses* can get cash incentives and save money through the BizSavers Small Business Direct Install program. By working with an approved service provider who provides assistance through every project step, small businesses can save big when upgrading to more energy-efficient technologies.
* Businesses classified under the Small General Services (2M) rate class
What incentives does the SBDI program provide?
- Cash incentives toward the purchase of new lighting, equipment, and HVAC equipment
- Eligible projects include a variety of high efficiency lighting upgrades, LED exit signs, RTU units, smart/learning thermostats, and lighting controls. Incentives reduce your initial investment and you only pay the difference of the remaining project cost
- Installation of new efficient equipment scheduled and completed at your convenience
- Old, inefficient equipment removed from your site
- A no-hassle incentive application process handled by an approved Small Business Direct Install Service Provider
- An opportunity to reduce operating costs by reducing energy use
Who is eligible for the incentives?
- Customers must be classified under the Ameren Missouri 2M Small General Service electric rate category to be eligible for the Small Business Direct Install Program (Identified on your monthly energy statement under the Details section)
- Customers must use an approved Small Business Direct Install Service Provider to purchase and install eligible equipment
- All applications must be submitted to the program office by the approved Service Provider
- Small Business Direct Install Program Incentives are capped at $15,000 per customer; however, your business may qualify for additional incentive dollars through the BizSavers Standard Incentive Program
How do I apply for the program?
To qualify for Small Business Direct Install incentives, small business customers must use a BizSavers-approved service provider to complete the purchase and installation of equipment. Finding a contractor is easy. Simply view a list of more than 30 registered contractors from across the Ameren Missouri service territory ready and eager to help you save money and energy.
